Time Out New York is the perfect magazine subscription for someone who always wants to be in-the-know of New York City happenings. Every weekly issue gives you the full head-to-toe scoop on everything from restaurants, bars and clubs, museums, book readings, theater, parks...you name it! I love being ahead of the curve on where to go and what to do in not only my favorite city, but the city I call home. I love to read this magazine cover to cover, especially when I have an out-of-town visitor as I know with the information in this magazine, I will be able to show them the best New York has to offer. I can't say enough good things about this mag...

This is one of the BEST deals I have seen in terms of magazines. I bought myself an early Christmas present with a subscription to TimeOut NY... what a steal. I'll be buying some relatives subscriptions too. Even though they live on the West Coast they love New York and magazines like TimeOut, the New Yorker, and NY mag. But don't get them all mixed up. While these mags share some qualities, they are definitely distinct publications. TimeOut New York is so specific which is great for New Yorkers, and the format is easy to follow to stay current on all the latest news, events, exhibits, shows. Basically, if you're a culture vulture and you want to live in the moment and make every day a moment to remember, TimeOut is your guide to doing just that. When my parents and relatives get their issues I'm sure they'll be marking up all of the pages so they know exactly what they want to do, see, and experience when they come visit. All together this is a fantastic resource to have. Even if you don't have interest in visiting or spending time in New York, I'm sure you'll appreciate the witty and often edgy writing style of the TimeOut writers. They write with a clear perspective and discernable eye, so you know that you can trust that reviews are justifiable and trustworthy. Plus, a lot of times the trends spotted by TimeOut end up taking hold across the country later on. So if you're a dedicated reader, like myself, you can take pride in the fact that you likely know a lot more about what's going on (or what's going to be in next month) than those around you.
